SEMH Teacher – Grantham
Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire
Salary: £150 – £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (potential for permanent)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Grantham, supporting students who require a nurturing, structured, and adaptable learning environment.
This is a full-time, temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with SEMH and behavioural challenges.

Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning experiences.

Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet individual needs.

Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that fosters trust and growth.

Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting approaches where necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

Has previous experience teaching within an SEMH or alternative provision setting.

Demonstrates resilience, patience, and a compassionate approach to challenging behaviour.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
