Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day
Contract Type: Part-Time

About the Role
We are seeking a SEN Learning Mentor to support pupils with additional learning or emotional needs. The role is designed to help pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their potential, working closely with teaching staff and SEN coordinators to deliver personalised support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring for pupils with SEN needs.

  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.

  • Assist with behaviour management and implementation of individual support plans.

  • Work alongside teachers to monitor progress and adapt interventions as required.

  • Promote pupil independence and self-esteem, encouraging positive engagement in learning.

  • Provide personal care support where appropriate, maintaining dignity and safety.

  • Maintain accurate records of interventions and pupil progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN or additional learning needs.

  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies, differentiation, and behaviour management.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to adapt support to meet individual pupil needs.

  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
