About the Role
The school is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Learning Support Assistant to support teaching staff in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children in the early years. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on children’s development, helping them build essential skills, confidence, and independence. You will work closely with teachers to ensure all children are supported appropriately and have access to engaging learning opportunities.
Responsibilities

Support teaching staff in delivering the EYFS curriculum and activities.

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children with additional learning or emotional needs.

Assist with classroom organisation, preparation, and resources to maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Monitor and encourage pupils’ development, helping to build confidence and independence.

Support behaviour management and ensure all children follow school guidelines.

Work collaboratively with teachers, colleagues, and parents to promote consistent support and pupil progress.
Qualifications

Relevant experience supporting children in EYFS or early years settings.

Knowledge of early years learning and development, including the EYFS curriculum.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.

Ability to adapt activities and approaches to suit individual learning needs.

Commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and positive learning environments.
