SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism Focused

Location: White City
Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
Start Date: Immediate

Join a nurturing specialist SEN school in White City, where every child is celebrated for who they are. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping students with autism develop confidence, communication, and independence — both inside and outside the classroom.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for students with Autism (ASC).

  • Using structured routines, visuals, and communication aids to support learning.

  • Encouraging engagement through sensory and play-based activities.

  • Supporting emotional regulation and social interaction.

  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver tailored support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting students with Autism (ASC) or complex needs (desirable).

  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education.

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
