Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Payrate: £140 - £190 per day
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to work in Secondary Schools across Barnsley. Job Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3–KS5.
• Encourage discussion, analysis, and critical thinking about historical events and perspectives.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning.
• Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Humanities curriculum.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in History or a related subject.
• Experience teaching History in Secondary Schools preferred.
• Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
