Job Title: Midday Supervisor

Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire
Salary: £13.60 - £14.20 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP 
Contract Type: Part-time, Term-time only

GSL Education is currently recruiting a Midday Supervisor to join a friendly and welcoming school in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important role in creating a safe, happy, and inclusive lunchtime environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during the lunch period.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and good table manners among students.

  • Support and engage with pupils to promote social interaction and inclusion.

  • Deal with minor incidents or accidents calmly and appropriately.

  • Work with school staff to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children (in a school or childcare setting) is desirable.

  • A caring, patient, and reliable attitude.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with children and colleagues.

  • A positive and proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
