Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 – £110 per day (Depending on Experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students across primary and secondary schools in Boston. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on classroom experience before pursuing a teaching qualification or further studies in education.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across a range of subjects and year groups. You’ll help create a positive, engaging environment where every student can thrive.
Graduate Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

Support students in small groups or 1:1 to reinforce learning and boost confidence.

Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.

Encourage active participation and positive behaviour among students.

Provide academic and emotional support to pupils of varying abilities.

Work with children who have additional learning needs, ensuring inclusion and progress.

Supervise pupils during non-classroom times such as lunch or break.
Requirements for the Role:

A recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science, or related fields).

A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners.

Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching) is desirable.

A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude toward school life.

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
