About the Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will play a central role in shaping pupils’ learning experiences across the curriculum. You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and create an encouraging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and independence. Whether working with KS1 or KS2 pupils, you will help nurture positive attitudes towards learning and support every child in achieving their best.
Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN.

Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel safe and motivated.

Assess, record, and report on pupils’ progress and development.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and parents to support individual learning goals.

Promote excellent behaviour, attendance, and engagement across all lessons.

Participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities as part of the wider teaching team.
Qualifications and Skills

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Proven experience teaching EYFS, KS1, or KS2 pupils in a UK primary school setting.

A clear understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.

A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equal opportunities in education.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
