SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets, E1 1NT
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long Term, Full Time
Hours: 8:30am – 3:45pm
Salary: £90–£105 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant for a supportive school in Tower Hamlets. You will be instrumental in providing dedicated support to pupils with complex needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), both in 1:1 and small group settings. This long-term, full-time position offers the chance to become a valued member of a close-knit school team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD.

  • Recent experience working in a school environment.

  • A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.

  • Ability to deliver tailored 1:1 support and small group interventions.

  • Willingness to assist with personal care if required.

  • A strong team player committed to upholding school policies.
