Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role?
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a welcoming school in Scunthorpe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school-based experience who is passionate about helping every child reach their full potential, both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and communication or learning difficulties.

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups, assisting with learning activities and personal development.

  • Collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver individual education plans (IEPs).

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a school setting (essential).

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (essential).

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

  • A valid Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education).

  • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday during term time.
