Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to join a Hove school, providing targeted support to pupils in need of behavioural guidance and emotional support.

About the Role
The Behaviour Mentor will provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils manage behaviour, improve engagement, and develop social and emotional skills. Your work will directly contribute to a positive school environment and help pupils thrive academically and personally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted behavioural support and mentoring to pupils

  • Assist with emotional regulation and social skills development

  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to implement individual support plans

  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs or SEMH requirements

  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and SEN provision

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability to respond to individual pupil needs

This role provides the opportunity to make a tangible difference in pupils’ learning and daily school experience.
