Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day [Depending on experience]

About the Role
The EYFS Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in supporting Nursery and Reception children with SEN. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to deliver tailored learning support, provide pastoral care, and ensure all children can access the curriculum in a safe and encouraging environment. Your contribution will help children develop essential skills, achieve their potential, and enjoy a positive early school experience.
Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs.

Assist with personal care where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect.

Support the delivery of targeted learning activities and early years curriculum.

Promote positive behaviour and social development through consistent guidance and support.

Monitor progress and communicate observations to teaching staff and the SENCo.

Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications

Experience working with young children in Nursery or Reception, ideally with SEN.

Understanding of EYFS curriculum and early years learning strategies.

Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

Ability to build supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply).
