We are urgently seeking Safeguarding/Inclusion Officer!!
We are looking for an experienced Safeguarding/Inclusion Officer to join a Secondary school in Lewisham. The candidate must have prior experience in safeguarding roles within a school setting. Would also need to be available to interview next week and free till Christmas.
Role: Safeguarding/Inclusion Officer
Location: Lewisham
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £130 - £180 per day
Employment Type: Supply/Full-time/Long-term
Responsibilities Include:
- To work closely in support of all internal and external agencies that support inclusion across the school.
- To be proactive and creative in supporting and developing the inclusion team.
- To develop open lines of communication between staff, students and families.
- To be the school’s deputy child protection officer across the school. To be responsible for a key caseload of families.
- To be an active member of the Inclusion team, and as such be involved in developing, implementing and reviewing relevant aspects of the School Development Plan.
- A valid DBS registered on the update service.
- 2-3 professional references covering a minimum of 2-3 years of employment history.
- Must be available for an immediate interview and start date.
Compliance Requirements:

- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
- References covering your past two years of employment or education
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Proof of national insurance
- Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
- Qualification documents
