Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Bournemouth
Pay Rate: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full Time/Part Time

GSL Education are looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant to join schools in Bournemouth. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with teachers and pupils, supporting classroom learning and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
- Provide support to pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Encourage pupil engagement, participation, and confidence.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs where required.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
Ideal Candidate Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships with children.
- A genuine passion for supporting learning and child development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
