Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay Rate: £150 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced and dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
GSL Education are currently seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Sheffield (S11). This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of pupils by providing tailored teaching and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver personalised lessons designed to meet the unique needs of pupils with a range of additional learning needs. You will foster a nurturing environment that supports both academic and personal growth, working closely with support staff and families to achieve the best outcomes for students.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage learners.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally in a specialist setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and differentiated teaching.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
