Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a committed Science Teacher to join a school in Bawtry (DN10). This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons, support pupil progress, and foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Role Overview:
As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics, helping pupils to build understanding, problem-solving skills, and a love for scientific exploration. You will also encourage participation in practical experiments and STEM activities.
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons across various age groups.
- Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and practical experimentation.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support extracurricular STEM activities and science clubs where applicable.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Requirements for Science Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience teaching Science across UK school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
