Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Bawtry (DN10)
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a school in Bawtry (DN10). This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging drama lessons, support pupil development, and foster a positive and inclusive performing arts environment.

Role Overview:
As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that encourage pupils to explore acting, performance, and theatrical techniques. You will also play a key role in school productions and extracurricular performing arts activities.

As a Drama Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons across various age groups.
  • Inspire creativity, self-expression, and confidence in pupils.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities.
  • Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Requirements for Drama Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching Drama across primary and secondary age groups.
  • Strong knowledge of the Drama curriculum and performance techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
