Job Title: Computing Teacher (KS3) – Maternity Cover
Location: Spalding
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (depending on experience)
Start Date: November 2025
Contract Type: Full Time / Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

Are you a passionate and innovative Computing Teacher with the skills to inspire the next generation of digital thinkers? GSL is seeking a motivated Computing Teacher (KS3) to cover a maternity leave, starting from November 2025 to join a thriving secondary school in Spalding

Responsibilities of the Computing Teacher (KS3):

  • Deliver engaging and creative Computing lessons to KS3 students.
  • Teach core topics such as coding, digital literacy, computer systems, and online safety.
  • Inspire students to develop problem-solving, logical thinking, and digital skills.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports and challenges all learners.

Requirements for the Computing Teacher (KS3):

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Computing, ICT, or a related subject.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 Computing curriculum.
  • Ability to create engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement.
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
