Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Sheffield (S10)
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S10). As an SEN TA, this role provides the opportunity to help students access the curriculum, develop key skills, and thrive in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with special educational needs during lessons and learning activities.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to provide tailored support.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
- Help maintain classroom resources and a safe, inclusive environment.
- Monitor and record pupil progress to inform teaching strategies.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children with SEN or additional needs is desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
