Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Sheffield (S10)
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a progessive school in Sheffield (S10). This role provides the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their full potential.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Support pupils in managing behaviour and developing social, emotional, and interpersonal skills.
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to provide guidance and mentorship.
  • Encourage positive engagement in learning and school activities.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to develop personalised behaviour strategies.
  • Maintain records and monitor progress to inform teaching and intervention plans.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.

Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:

  • Experience working with children with behavioural or SEMH needs is desirable.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and support students effectively.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
