Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Sheffield (S10)
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a progessive school in Sheffield (S10). This role provides the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their full potential.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Support pupils in managing behaviour and developing social, emotional, and interpersonal skills.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups to provide guidance and mentorship.
- Encourage positive engagement in learning and school activities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to develop personalised behaviour strategies.
- Maintain records and monitor progress to inform teaching and intervention plans.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with children with behavioural or SEMH needs is desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and support students effectively.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
