Location: Gravesham
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

The role:

As a QTS Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum. Your Responsibilities as a QTS Primary Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support children’s progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and inclusion.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
  • Contribute to school activities, enrichment programmes, and wider initiatives.
  • Ensure that safeguarding policies and practices are followed at all times.

Requirements for QTS Primary Teacher:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
  • A degree in Education or a related subject.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • A commitment to supporting the holistic development of pupils.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate children of all abilities.
  • Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
