Location: Brighton
Salary: £120–£200 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/ Long Term, Full-time

GSL Education are looking for skilled Teachers to join schools in Brighton. This role provides the opportunity to inspire and guide pupils, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment while supporting their academic and personal development.

As a Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, monitoring student progress, and providing support tailored to the needs of your class. You will work closely with other teaching staff, support personnel, and parents to ensure each pupil receives the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.

Main Responsibilities of a Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress and provide feedback.
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive conduct.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to address pupils’ needs.
  • Prepare teaching materials and resources as required.
  • Support extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and self-motivation.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a UK school or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive approach to teaching.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
