SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Brigg
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £88.94 - £114.84 per day
You’re an experienced SEN teaching assistant looking to make an impact on children’s learning and development. You enjoy helping children with additional needs to thrive and create a love of learning. If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!
GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team of experienced staff to help with the staffing demand across schools in Brigg and surrounding areas.
Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- You will assist teachers in delivering fun, engaging and individually tailored activities.
- You will support children of all abilities (including ADHD, Autism and SEMH) and ensure all learning is accessible.
- You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all children feel valued and safe.
- You will help shape confident, happy children through encouragement and guidance.
- You must have experience and confidence of working with children with additional needs.
Requirements as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
✔ Experience working with children in a school setting is essential.
✔ A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is a plus but not essential!
✔ A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
✔ A friendly, patient, and supportive nature to inspire young learners.
✔ An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
