Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)

Pay Rate: £86 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to work within a friendly school in Rotherham, S65. As a Primary TA, this is an excellent opportunity to help young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally while working closely with teachers and staff.
Key Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Provide support to pupils in lessons, small groups, and on a 1:1 basis.
- Assist teachers in creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.
- Encourage positive behaviour and participation in class activities.
- Support pupils with their social, emotional, and educational development.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years, with clear explanations for any gaps.
