Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Rotherham, S61
Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking to inspire young learners and help them achieve their full potential?

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Rotherham, S61. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT to contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment where children feel supported and motivated to succeed.

Responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values.

Requirements for Primary Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching within primary education (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners.
  • A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
