Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated History Teacher to join a forward-thinking school in Rotherham, S60. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging history lessons to students, fostering a love for the subject while supporting their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities as a History Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality history lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and debate.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in developing a deep understanding of historical events, concepts, and ideas.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and resources.
Requirements for History Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Experience teaching history at secondary school level is desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching history.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
