Behaviour Mentor
Location: Sheffield, S20
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a forward-thinking school in Sheffield, S20. As a Behaviour Mentor, this role will give you the chance to provide vital support to students with behavioural needs, ensuring they have the skills and strategies to succeed in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students facing behavioural challenges.
- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to encourage positive outcomes.
- Support students in building emotional regulation, social skills, and resilience.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to create tailored support plans.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs is desirable.
- Strong communication, patience, and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students to promote positive change.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
