Behaviour Mentor
Location: Sheffield, S12
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a dynamic school in Sheffield, S12. As a Behaviour Mentor, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored support to students facing behavioural challenges, ensuring they can thrive both academically and socially.
Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor:
- Work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis to address behavioural issues.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement.
- Support students in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and resilience.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to develop individualised support strategies.
- Maintain a calm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges is desirable.
- Strong communication, de-escalation, and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a commitment to helping students succeed.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
