SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Sheffield, S12
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sheffield, S12. As an SEN TA, you will provide crucial support to students with diverse SEN, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed both academically and personally.
Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with various SEN.
- Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging both academic and social progress.
- Support students in developing essential life skills and confidence in the classroom.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best possible support for students.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- Strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills.
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students with different needs.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
