Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Rotherham, S60
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a vibrant school in Rotherham, S60. In this role, you will motivate students to develop their physical fitness and teamwork skills, promoting a lifelong love of sport and exercise.
Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Provide students with a broad range of physical activities, including team sports, fitness training, and individual challenges.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages physical activity and teamwork.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Lead extracurricular sports clubs and support the organisation of school sports events and competitions.
Requirements for PE Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching PE.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire students to engage in physical activities and develop teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
