Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Dinnington, S25
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming school in Dinnington, S25. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide essential support to students, helping them develop the skills to manage their behaviour, improve their social skills, and succeed academically in a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural challenges.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and encourage emotional regulation.
- Build trusting relationships with students to increase engagement and participation.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies to ensure effective and holistic support.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with students with behavioural or emotional challenges is desirable.
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
