Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Bentley, DN5
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Bentley, DN5. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional support to manage their behaviour, helping them develop positive social skills and succeed academically in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with behavioural challenges.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and help students develop self-regulation skills.
- Build strong relationships with students, providing encouragement and guidance.
- Support teachers and school staff in creating a positive and safe classroom environment.
- Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies to ensure effective support strategies are in place.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges is desirable.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills.
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach when working with students.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
