Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £83 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming school in Chapeltown. As a TA, you will work closely with teachers to provide classroom support, help deliver engaging learning activities, and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils in their learning through 1:1 and small group work.
- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lesson materials.
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
- Support the social and emotional development of pupils.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for learning.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
- A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
