Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Sheffield, S10
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Sheffield, S10. As a Behaviour Mentor, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional emotional and social support, helping them develop positive behaviours and resilience.
As a Behaviour Mentor, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one or small group mentoring to pupils facing behavioural or emotional difficulties.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies consistent with school policies.
- Building trusting relationships to promote pupil engagement and success.
- Collaborating with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to support individual needs.
- Monitoring and recording behaviour and progress, providing feedback to relevant staff.
To be successful in this role as a Behaviour Mentor, you should:
- Have experience working with children or young people, ideally with behavioural needs.
- Be patient, empathetic, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
