Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Tickhill, DN11
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a creative and enthusiastic Drama Teacher passionate about inspiring students through performance and the arts?

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school in Tickhill, DN11. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, encouraging pupils to develop confidence, communication skills, and a love for drama

Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver imaginative Drama lessons that nurture creativity and self-expression.
  • Teach a range of dramatic techniques, performance skills, and stagecraft.
  • Prepare students for practical and written assessments.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel confident to perform.
  • Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and reflective learning.
  • Contribute to school productions, workshops, and enrichment activities.

Requirements for Drama Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Drama and Performing Arts is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for engaging students and promoting the arts.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
