Role: Drama Teacher

Location: Rotherham, S60

Salary: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-time / Long-Term, Day-to-day

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Drama Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Rotherham (S60). This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality Drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities of the Drama Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Prepare students for practical and written Drama assessments.
  • Encourage creativity, self-expression, and performance skills in a supportive environment.
  • Direct school productions, drama clubs, and enrichment activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote the performing arts across the school.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
  • A specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for helping students develop confidence both on and off the stage.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
