Pay Rate: £95 – £113 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Subject Specialist to join a supportive school in Chesterfield. As a Subject Specialist, you will deliver engaging lessons, support students’ learning, and help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a school setting and enjoys contributing to both academic and personal development.
Responsibilities as a Subject Specialist:
- Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to students’ learning needs.
- Support students in understanding and applying subject knowledge.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Encourage students to develop independence, resilience, and confidence in their subject.
Requirements for Subject Specialist:
- Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching in your specialist area.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage students effectively and maintain a structured classroom.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
