Pay Rate: £140 – £190 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a supportive school in Blyth. As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, foster curiosity about the world, and support students’ development both academically and personally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating interactive learning experiences and making a real impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Geography lessons.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Inspire curiosity and a love for Geography in all students.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student achievement.
Requirements for Geography Teacher:
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Geography.
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet all students’ needs.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
