GSL Education Manchester is supporting a highly respected secondary school in Stockport to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science. This full-time role begins in October 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year, offering stability, progression, and a real opportunity to make an impact.

About the Role:

 You’ll be delivering engaging Computer Science lessons, preparing students for real-world digital careers while supporting them through their GCSE journey.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Delivering lessons in coding, programming, and digital systems
  • Supporting student progress through tailored feedback and differentiated instruction
  • Collaborating with the department to enhance the computing curriculum

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS and a recognised Computer Science or IT specialism
  • Experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for digital education
  • A team player who’s proactive, positive, and adaptable
