Salary: M1 to UPS3 (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated and creative Music Teacher to join a thriving school in Hull, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ musical skills and appreciation.
Job Responsibilities of the Music Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring music lessons across key stages.
- Teach a range of musical disciplines, including theory, performance, and composition.
- Encourage student participation in ensembles, choirs, and school performances.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Contribute to extracurricular music activities and school events.
Candidate Requirements:
- QTS is a must.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach both practical and theoretical music.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to promoting creativity, inclusivity, and student engagement.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
