Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Sheffield, S12
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Sheffield. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who face behavioural, emotional, or social challenges, providing tailored support and guidance to help them improve their behaviour and well-being.
Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor:
- Work one-to-one and in small groups to support pupils’ behavioural and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement behaviour management plans in collaboration with teachers and pastoral staff.
- Mentor pupils to build self-esteem, resilience, and positive social skills.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies as appropriate.
- Promote a positive and safe learning environment within the school.
Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural, emotional, or social challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
