Job Title: Early Careers Teacher (ECT)

Pay Rate: Up to £180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Early Careers Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified teachers to gain valuable classroom experience, develop their teaching skills, and make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning.
As an Early Careers Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
To be successful as an Early Careers Teacher, you should:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to supporting all learners.
- Be eager to develop professionally and engage with CPD opportunities.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide a full, 10-year career history (CV) with any gaps explained.
