Supply Teacher – Mainstream Primary School – Bournemouth
Start Date: September 2025 | Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time, Day-to-Day (Long-Term and Permanent Opportunities are available)

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across various welcoming mainstream primary schools in Bournemouth, starting September 2025.
This role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators who want to inspire pupils’ learning while enjoying the freedom to choose their work schedule. With opportunities ranging from daily supply to longer-term placements and permanent positions, you’ll experience a diverse range of classrooms and supportive school environments.
Supply Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured and engaging lessons across primary year groups.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to promote learning.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress where required.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements for a Supply Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in UK primary schools (placements included).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Flexible, resilient, and able to adapt to new situations quickly.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
