About the Role: You'll work with children aged 2-5 years, guiding them through crucial developmental milestones while making learning irresistibly fun. From first friendships to first words on paper, you'll be there for those precious 'lightbulb moments' that shape a child's future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create play-based learning experiences that develop communication and language skills
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development through structured activities
- Help develop fine and gross motor skills through creative and physical play
- Use storytelling, rhymes and songs to build vocabulary and listening skills
- Work with children who have additional needs, providing targeted support
- Maintain detailed learning journals that celebrate each child's unique journey
Job Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Early Years (Level 2 minimum, Level 3 preferred)
- Genuine love for working with young children and understanding their needs
- Patience, creativity and ability to see the world through a child's eyes
- Strong observational skills and ability to plan next steps in learning
- Team player who contributes to a positive, supportive environment
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
What We Offer:
- Daily pay ranging from £90 to £100
- Comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development
- Opportunity to specialise in areas such as SEND or language development
- Warm, welcoming team environment
- The privilege of being part of children's first and most important learning experiences
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
