Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield, S6
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and develop their confidence, creativity, and communication skills through the performing arts.

Role Overview:

As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that nurture students' imagination, develop their performance techniques, and promote teamwork and self-expression.

Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher:

  • Teach Drama across Key Stages.
  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that inspire creativity and build performance skills.
  • Prepare students for school productions and drama examinations.
  • Create a positive classroom environment where all learners feel confident to participate.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and support for improvement.

Requirements for Drama Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
  • Previous experience teaching Drama in a school setting is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
