Job Title: Subject Specialist
Location: Retford
Pay Rate: £180 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking skilled and knowledgeable Subject Specialists to support schools in Retford. This is an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and inspire students across Key Stages.
As a Subject Specialist, you will deliver targeted instruction in your area of expertise, helping students excel academically while fostering a deeper understanding and enthusiasm for the subject.
Responsibilities as a Subject Specialist:
- Deliver high-quality subject-specific lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging learning activities and resources.
- Provide tailored support to students, including those with varying levels of ability.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for Subject Specialist:
- A relevant degree and/or teaching qualification in your specialist subject.
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring at school setting.
- Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
- A full, up-to-date CV with employment history and explanations for any gaps in the last 10 years
