Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Newham
Salary: £90 - £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-Term, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM – 03:30 PM

Key Responsibilities of TA:

  • 1:1 and Small Group Support: Tailored academic and emotional assistance

  • Implement IEPs: Assist with creating and following Individual Education Plans

  • Collaborate with Teachers: Help maintain a supportive and engaging classroom environment

  • Promote Development: Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth

  • Monitor Progress: Track student development and share updates with staff and parents

  • Support Behaviour: Promote positive behaviour and contribute to classroom management strategies


✅ What We’re Looking From a TA:

  • Experience: Prior experience working with children (school-based preferred)

  • Empathy & Patience: A nurturing, calm, and proactive approach

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication

  • Team Spirit: Able to work well with teachers, SEN staff, and other assistants

  • Training/Qualifications: SEN-related experience or qualifications are desirable but not essential
