SEN Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs
Location: Buckhurst Hill, IG9
Pay: £90 – £105 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:15pm
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term & Part-time (Ad hoc) Opportunities Available

Role Overview:
As a SEN TA (Complex Needs), you will:

Support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviours

Provide 1:1 or small group interventions tailored to individual needs

Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour in the classroom

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff

Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
✅ Requirements of a SEN TA:
-
Experience working with ASD and behavioural needs (preferred)

A proactive, calm and resilient personality
-
Passionate about inclusive education and helping all pupils succeed

A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
