Primary teachers wanted!
GSL Education are excited to be working in partnership with a large Primary trust in Plymouth who require regular support with Teacher supply.
The schools use for Teacher supply every week for sickness cover, PPA cover and blocks of work.
We are seeking Teachers who want regular and flexible work across Plymouth (PL1 through to PL6) and those who are happy across Key Stages 1 and 2. You must have QTS and UK teaching experience.
Rates of pay: £110-£125 per day
Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to KS1-2 pupils
- Plan and implement differentiated learning activities
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Stay informed about best practices and developments in primary education.
Requirements for the Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year’s experience teaching within the UK
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps).
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
