Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Snaith (DN14)
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are working closely with schools in Snaith to appoint passionate and energetic Sports Coaches to inspire students across a range of physical education and behavioural support settings. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong sporting background who are eager to make a difference in education.
Role Overview:
As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in delivering structured physical activity sessions, promoting teamwork and resilience, and supporting positive student behaviour. This role is ideal for individuals who want to channel their love for sports into supporting learning and development in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions across a range of age groups and abilities.
- Support Behaviour Mentors in planning and facilitating lessons, ensuring safety and inclusion for all pupils.
- Develop pupils' physical skills, teamwork, discipline, and confidence through sport.
- Organise and lead lunchtime and after-school clubs and inter-school competitions.
- Use physical activity to support students with behavioural, SEMH, or SEN needs.
- Maintain equipment, encourage participation, and uphold school policies on health and safety.
- Monitor pupil progress and engagement and provide regular feedback to staff.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sports Coach, PE Teaching Assistant, or similar role within a school or youth setting.
- Strong understanding of sports pedagogy and child development.
- A passion for using sport as a tool to inspire and engage students.
- Good behaviour management skills and the ability to lead and motivate.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Relevant coaching qualifications or experience in youth sport programmes is desirable.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
